Crosse & Blackwell Christmas Hamper Giveaway – Website Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

1. The Promoter
1.1 The promoter is: Princes Group plc of Royal Liver Building, Pier Head, Liverpool, L3 1NX (“Promoter”).

2. The Competition
2.1 The competition is titled “Crosse & Blackwell Christmas Hamper Giveaway.”
2.2 The prize is one Crosse & Blackwell Christmas Hamper (see section 5 for full prize details).

2.4 There is no limit on the number of entries per person.

3. How to Enter
3.1 The competition will run from Wednesday 10th December 2025 (the “Opening Date”) to 23:59 GMT on Sunday 14th December 2025 (the “Closing Date”).
3.2 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the Closing Date. All entries received after this time are automatically disqualified.
3.3 No purchase necessary to enter or win.
3.4 The Promoter will not accept responsibility for:

Lost, mislaid, or delayed entries

Technical faults or network issues

Incomplete or ineligible entries

Entries made via third-party reposts of the competition post

3.5 By entering, all entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.6 The winner will be chosen at random via a computer process.

4. Eligibility
4.1 Open to UK residents aged 18 or over, except:

Employees of the Promoter or its affiliates

Employees of agencies or suppliers involved in the competition

Immediate family members of those listed above

4.2 Entrants must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. Proof of age and identity may be required.
4.3 Disqualified entries may include:

Computer-generated or AI generated entries

Entries submitted in bulk or by third parties

Incomplete or tampered entries

4.4 Joint submissions and entries on behalf of others will not be accepted.

4.5 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant deemed to be acting against the spirit of the promotion.

5. The Prize
5.1 One (1) winner will receive a Crosse & Blackwell Christmas Hamper, which includes:

6 x tins of Crosse & Blackwell soup (3 x Cream of Tomato, 3 x Winter Vegetable)
1 x Christmas blanket
2 x festive tea towels
3 x pairs of woolly socks
1 x Christmas mug
1 x festive candle
1 x mini soup tin jumper

5.2 No cash alternative is available. The prize is non transferable and nonexchangeable.
5.3 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
5.4 The prize will be delivered to a UK address provided by the winner within 28 days ofconfirmation.

6. Winners
6.1 The winner will be notified via Instagram DM by Wednesday 17th December 2025.
6.2 The Promoter will contact the winner via Instagram. The winner must respond within 7 days to claim the prize.
6.3 If no response is received within the time frame, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner.
6.4 A winner’s surname and county may be published in line with advertising regulations. This can be requested by emailing enquiries@princes.co.uk within one month of the closing date.
6.5 Entrants may object to their details being made public by contacting enquiries@princes.co.uk.

In such cases, the information may still be provided to regulatory authorities upon request.

7. Claiming the Prize
7.1 The winner must provide their name, address, and contact number to claim their prize.
7.2 Prizes cannot be claimed by third parties on behalf of the winner.
7.3 The Promoter accepts no liability if the winner cannot receive or use the prize.

8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the competition or use of the prize, except in cases of negligence causing death or personal injury.

9. Data Protection
9.1 Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy at: https://www.crosseandblackwell.co.uk/privacy-policy

10. General
10.1 The Promoter may disqualify entrants if there is evidence of a breach of these terms.
10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition where necessary.
10.3 These terms are governed by English law and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
